Morning, I was wanting to purchase an item from Houzz. The item I wanted was fair priced but then I noticed another item at a much lower price. I placed the item in my shopping bin then wanted to verify the product and price with Houzz. As I was doing so over the phone with a Houzz representative, my shopping bin was emptied and the item removed from their web page. The agent I was talking to stalled for 8 minutes while their computer / web people removed the item. Houzz also had the same item listed on MSN at the price I wanted. I screen shot but pages if that information will help. Houzz has stated there is nothing they can or will do, it was a mistake and they will not honor their advertised price. Some companies stand by their mistakes while Houzz will not. I feel Houzz is a very dishonest company that advertises item they cannot deliver on. Their staff needs the be retrained to learn that the customer is always right. Especially if they have proof. David

Houzz - Received Second Quality Damaged Items

In September 2017, I ordered a Sinkology copper sink from Houzz. Although it was packaged well and there was no damage to the outer packaging, the sink arrived completely misshapen and dented. I phoned and told them that this sink was holding up our whole kitchen remodeling, as it had to be installed along with the countertop -we were very inconvenienced as we were using our laundry room sink as our kitchen. They did not expedite the shipping of the replacement sink, and when it came, it was also dented!! We emailed them photos of all the damage on both sinks. I phoned and told them I did not trust them a third time, nor could I wait, as our countertops needed to be installed. Our countertop installer said he could hopefully fix the sink. The Houzz representative I spoke to, talked to his manager and told me I would be reimbursed for my cost - no worries, I would be well compensated. Days later, I received an email asking for the photos - which I had sent days before! They also sent me the vendor's suggestion! The vendor wanted me to flip the sink upside down on concrete and hit it with a mallet!! I am a tiny woman with shoulder tendinitis! This is ridiculous! I could not even believe Houzz would think this was acceptable. I paid for first quality merchandise, and I should have gotten first quality merchandise. These sinks were obviously sent out in damaged condition. The story changed on the reimbursement, too - they did not hold to their word, they offered me a small refund. Very shoddy vendor and very shoddy Houzz service.

Houzz dot com: DON'T! The vinyl bathroom wall paper I ordered to use on the back wall in the new Master Bath, I found it on houzz.com. They listed 9 rolls and I ordered 2. NINE IN STOCK! READY FOR ORDER! Delivery in about a week and a half. HAH! First they wrote and told me that OOPS! not for an extra month, no explanation. Then, the cancelled the order. CANCELLED THE ORDER! Out of stock. Nope. Not when I ordered. When I complained, they said "sorry, but too bad. Here's a 10% coupon." ON WHAT? I'm never ordering from them ever again. There were 9 rolls when I ordered. before anybody else could sneak in and order all nine, I'm guessing. And they won't back order for more than a month and the supplier can't guarantee restock in December WHICH IS WHEN THEY PROMISED TO SEND THE DELAYED ORDER. Houzz dot come. Don't knock on their door! ***

Houzz - HOME DECORE CHECK TOWEL 14 COUNT

We ordered these Home Dec Check Towel 14 Count 16"x26" - Ecru with the understanding that 14 Count Ecru meant the amount. When they arrived there was only one in the package so we called customer service. They informed us that that was the thread count not the number of items. It is stated on the packaging and in there ad that is count not stated anywhere dose it say thread count. BUYER Beware!!!! Did state that we could return the items at our expense. Worst first experience with online retailer HOUZZ

I ordered MIA MELLANNI "FINE" LINENS and the day before I was to receive the order, I get an e-mail cancellation. Cue negligence, poor communication, lack of refund solution, and professionalism. I will NEVER use this site or buy MIA MELLANNI linens ever again. BAD first interaction from an online retailer. They knocked this FAIL out fast. HOUZZ is garbage. I order a platform Cal-king bed. It was beautiful until ... I placed my mattress on the 4 flimsy slats they sank and broke legs popped off the next day. After sending pictures to seller Beyond Shores (via Houzz message center) and around a dozen back and forth messages. The seller wanted to sell me slats for $120 because apparently I needed a box spring. No where in the description or pictures on Houzz was this stated (other beds did have the reference if it needed one) Then they offered me the flimsy slats at no charge, which still left me with having to buy a box spring and metal support slats (did not trust the junk they were wanting to send me) I finally called Houzz directly. After much conversation and hold time (they were talking to supervisor and seller) this is what came of it. $150 refund + the "Houzz 10" as they called it, is 10% off their site. "The best that they could do" really? The box spring on their site was about twice of another huge on line site. So.. they pretty much offered me the equivalent of maybe a pizza if I paid for the overpriced item I needed on their site. I am out money not too mention the time and frustration and HOPE that the items I had to buy to give me a functional bed will work. No backing or seller guarantee policy exist with Houzz. Taking them off my shopping site list and will stay with the ones I can trust to have quality and backing. Hoping my post will help someone avoid being a victim of Houzz and seller.

The rug was nothing like the picture. The colors are totally wrong. Houzz customer service was horrible and extremely uncooperative when I wanted to return this product. There was a glitch in their system when I placed an order for this product and they send me two of the same rugs and they wanted to charge me a return fee for something that was not even my fault! Never going to shop from Houzz ever again. Worst customer service! They charged me $100 dollars for returning a rug that I didn't even order! I have never see anything like this before.

Houzz - Same as Others! Terrible trying to return. Poor responses

I ordered 2 items: one a shower liner, the other a shower curtain. Both were far too large for our bathtub, large in itself! Other critics are right on target and I am returning both in same pkg since Houzz is in a sound proofed tiny booth somewhere-- they are NOT responsible sellars at all. I have never seen this much mismanagement from a sellar online ever. I will order the item I want instead, and am sending my bulky, well packed package items using USPS. Neither you nor I need to use 100 words... what is this, 7th grade??!!! I'm only typing to make you happy, idiot. There! 100 words.
