Sharing our ongoing horrific customer experience with HOUZZ.com in hopes that you all can avoid what we've been through.

We ordered AND PAID IN FULL for a $5,000 stove on February 23,2018 with an expected delivery date April 25-May 11th. We then proceeded to schedule our entire kitchen remodel around that date with wiggle room in the event it showed up a few weeks late.

On May 11th, with no stove or word from Houzz. We start calling and are told it's "delayed" and the new delivery window is May 26-June 8.

We start calling more regularly and every time we call we get a new story. May 26th we receive an email informing us that it cleared customs and would be delivered sometime around June 8th. Still no update on our order online however and no tracking info.

Next they tell us it shipped in four separate containers and the fourth container is held up in customs? (Wait a second...didn't Houzz send an email informing us it cleared customs on the 26th?)

We have now officially lost our sense of humor and patience (June 5th) when they literally tell us they don't know where the stove is, that it's held up in customs and if we want to know where it is "YOU SHOULD CALL CUSTOMS". That's right folks, now Houzz wants to make US the bad guys for demanding to know where our stove is!

June 11,2018 we receive an email informing us that the container cleared customs but OOPS, our stove wasn't in it? Same email, they offer to replace our BLACK stove with a WHITE stove which they claim the vendor has, we call and say "Ok, we'll take the white stove but we A- Want compensation for our troubles B- Want to know when we will receive the white stove? We ask to speak to a supervisor and get disconnected.

We decide to respond to the email, and we write we will accept the wrong color but want to know when it will be delivered and how much they are going to refund for our troubles.

We go to dinner and come home to a message from the supervisor who disconnected us informing us that we should just cancel our order because it will be another 12 weeks before we get the white stove!!! Wait, didn't you just send an email informing us that the black stove we ordered was missing but that a white one was available?

We reported Houzz to the The Colorado Attorney General's Office and hope that you too will report them if you've had a similar experience. This is fraud AT IT'S WORST. Folks, be warned, this is NOT A COMPANY YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!!!

Tip for consumers: Houzz places teasers on all of their products "Hurry! Only 5 left" can be seen today on the black stove we ordered in Feb. This suggests to the consumer that they actually HAVE the products offered on their site. They DON'T! They come through 3rd party vendors. It's flat out false advertising and fraudulent to suggest they have _ number of ANYTHING!

Your complaint is far too long to read in its entirety. I would never even consider buying anything from a place with such a stupid, trendy, modern misspelled name like HOUZZ.That even sounds like baloney run by amateurs or the very young. Very dippy sounding.
