Houzz - Pending review still pending
I wrote a review for a design professional who is listed on Houzz. It is still pending 4 days after I wrote it.
Meanwhile, the 'pro' contacted me 12 hours after I wrote it, although she was sorry I wasn't happy when I initially contacted her, but had nothing else to offer. Not a site for consumers, it seems. Buyer beware. My 2 star review has not been posted.
I paid $180 for 2 exterior paint, trim and door selections, answered a questionnaire and sent pictures.
I received 3 selections, all blue, white trim with a red door, except a green door as an alternate. I asked for something else, and was told that I said I like blue on my questionnaire. I do like blue, but if I had wanted what I liked, I would not have paid for a professional's opinion. I wanted something else.
Perhaps the Internet is not the best way to determine what someone is looking for, or the questionnaire was lacking, I don't know.
I just know that I didn't feel that I got what I paid for, and was told I could have a three minute response. How much was I paying an hour?
Reason of review: Warranty issue.
Monetary Loss: $180.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
